We are so excited to invite you to the Colorado State University Summer Bridge Scholars Program and the Bridge Scholars cohort of 2025. This unique, eight-week program carries a legacy of academic achievement, quality service to the community, and excellence in leadership.
Once you accept your invitation to join the 2026 cohort, complete these 10 important next steps to prepare you for your arrival on campus in June.
Next Steps
- Accept invitation and complete registration form.
- Read the Bridge Program Guidelines and Expectations
- Once your application is accepted, you will receive an email to confirm your participation in the Bridge Scholars Program
- You will sign up for one of the three Bridge Ready Sessions and complete your registration forms
- Complete Financial Aid requirements
- Complete both 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 FAFSA or CASFA
- Regularly check your Ramweb for any outstanding requirements
- Complete Math Placement Tool
- The Math Placement Tool ($15 charged to student account) is used to determine what math class you can register for
- Please see First Semester Math Requirements for your specific major. Taking a math course during the Summer Bridge Program can jumpstart you in meeting your math requirements
- RAM Orientation
- All Bridge Scholars are required to attend Ram Orientation on Friday, June 26th.
- Bridge Scholars will automatically be assigned this Ram Orientation Session, no registration required.
- Once you have been assigned, you will receive a confirmation email where you can add guests to attend RAM Orientation.

- Apply for summer housing and Meal Plan
- Use the Housing Portal to reserve your summer Bridge Housing and to select your meal plan. The Housing Portal will open March 24th.
- As a reminder, housing and meals are covered by grants and scholarships at no cost to you. You are required to select the following in your housing application:
- Move-in Date: June 14th
- Move-out Date: August 7th
- Meal Plan: 19 meals per week (do not select a plan with less meals)

- CSU Mountain Campus Trip
- We will be visiting the Mt. Campus on July 11th -12th. The Mt. Campus is situated in a remote mountain valley at 9,000ft elevation. There is no cell service and little to no Wi-Fi. Bridge will be providing transportation to and from the Mt. Campus. We will be mostly outside and participating in the challenge course. A comprehensive packing list will be provided during the Bridge Ready sessions.

- The Bridge Scholars Program does not cover the cost of parking on campus in the summer.
- Parking on campus during the summer Bridge Scholars program requires a summer residential Q parking permit which will be made available May 1st. The cost is about $290 for the duration of the summer. PLEASE NOTE: Having a vehicle on campus is not required to participate in the Bridge program. We offer transportation for all program-sponsored activities. Access to public transportation is included for all CSU students.
- If you would like to bring your car to campus you must take these steps:
- Contact Parking Services (970-491-7041) to let them know you will be living in Parmelee Hall and will need a residential parking permit option added to your parking account. Otherwise, it will not be available to you.

- It is important that Bridge Scholars continue to engage in developing community and receive support after the summer Bridge Program. Students are required to submit applications to the following programs.
- Academic Advancement Center (AAC): the AAC is a student-centered office dedicated to expanding access to higher education and supporting students holistically, from academic and personal development to career goals, through programs like TRIO Support Services, McNair Scholars, and CAMP.

- Key Communities: Key Communities are first-year learning communities designed to help students find a supportive peer network, strengthen academic confidence, and build leadership skills through shared courses, mentorship, and community-engaged experiences as they transition to and thrive at CSU.
