Former Weld County EOC participant coaching for the Raiders

 

Words from her mentor at Weld County Educational Opportunity Center:

“Kelsey Martinez recently was hired to become the first female assistant coach in the Oakland Raiders franchise history. I first heard this story and didn’t recognize her until I saw this photo. I began to assist her at the EOC here in Weld County when she transferred from Bethany College to Aims Community College in 2011 and I continued to assist her until she transferred to CSU in the spring of 2014. Her story is very inspiring and I’m glad we assisted her on her journey to success! Never let them tell you we don’t make a difference because we all know: TRIO Works!
